With the increasing growth of the organisation, the Senior Compliance Executive’s principal responsibilities below reflect the main areas to be covered by this role, but due to the constantly evolving nature of the business – there needs to be a flexible and adaptable approach in the delivery of the role and interaction with the team.

The Compliance Executive role at QCS:

Identify compliant and commercially viable contractor engagement solutions in new regions.
Monitor and advise on employment, tax, and immigration law changes affecting company operations.
Stay informed on key legislation (e.g., AWR, IR35, Opt Out, cross-border rules, A1, Limosa, FLSA, AUG).
Audit payroll and EOR partners to ensure full compliance.
Conduct internal and support external audits; escalate non-compliance issues.
Collaborate with Sales, Admin, and Finance to resolve compliance queries and ensure timely contractor setup for payment/invoicing.
Support Contract Admin team with contract drafting as needed.
Represent the company with professionalism at all times.
Foster open communication and uphold QCS’s Vision & Values.

Experience and Skills

Experience in recruitment compliance in the UK, USA and preferably 1-3 European jurisdictions.
Proven knowledge of international contractor engagement solutions (employed, independent contractor, etc).
Strong commercial acumen and a pragmatic approach to compliance problem solving.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and thrive in a constantly evolving landscape.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with contractors, suppliers and work colleagues.
Efficient and well organised.

Desirable

Knowledge of global compliance impacting the recruitment sector
Knowledge of multiple engagement processes for professional contractors
