Job Opportunity: Senior Associate/Director – Energy Regulation & Commercial Contracts
Location: Glasgow

Overview:
A leading Infrastructure team is seeking a Senior Associate or Director to join its Clean Energy practice. You’ll work with top renewable developers on regulatory matters and high-value commercial contracts, helping clients drive the UK’s transition to net zero.

Role Requirements:
You’ll advise on regulatory change and a wide range of commercial agreements, from grid reform to project contracts. The role suits a senior lawyer with commercial awareness, excellent client skills and the ability to handle complex negotiations with confidence.

Experience:

4+ years’ PQE in commercial contracts and/or energy/utilities regulation
Background advising on complex, high value matters within energy, infrastructure, or related sectors
Exposure to regulatory reform, licensing, or clean energy project agreements (advantageous)

Skills:

Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
Effective time management and organisational skills
Collaborative approach with leadership potential
Problem-solving mindset, delivering practical client-focused solutions
