A luxury interior design fabric and textile business is recruiting for a proactive and organized Administrative Assistant to join their Admin & Sales team at their office in Chelsea. The role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, has excellent communication skills both written and verbal and who enjoys being helpful and attentive to both clients and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities of the role :-
Managing daily emails from interior designer clients and suppliers, ensuring timely and professional responses.
Attention to detail is paramount, inputting and processing customer fabric orders accurately and in a timely manner
Communication over the phone and in writing with interior designers and other design professionals
Co ordinating stock reservations with global suppliers
Creating invoices and supporting documentation
Prepare and update spreadsheets for internal departments
Collaborate with showroom and sales team members to ensure smooth operational flow
Support the department with other ad hoc duties as required
Skills and Requirements
Professional and confident telephone manner
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to use initiative
Experience with Microsoft excel and outlook.
Familiarity with CRM platforms and Sage is desirable
Ability to stay on top of daily, weekly and monthly task with minimal supervision
The opportunity suits someone who has an interest in fabrics for interior design and who has ideally worked in a similar business. This role is offered on a Monday to Friday basis 9am – 5.30pm Monday to Thursday with a 5pm finish on Fridays. The company offer lots of opportunity for progression, a friendly, sociable team and a competitive salary based on experience from £30,000 – £34,000.
