Are you technically minded with a background in customer service or support roles? We’re working with a well-established manufacturing business in Thurrock that is looking to expand its team with the addition of a Technical Customer Service Advisor.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy, supportive environment where you’ll play a key role in maintaining high service standards, identifying technical issues, and ensuring smooth coordination between customers, suppliers, and internal teams.

The Role

You’ll act as a first point of contact for customer emails, helping to assess queries and deliver cost-effective, practical solutions. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Updating internal databases, compliance records, and CRM systems

Checking for outstanding credits from suppliers and following up as needed

Reporting on technical issues, identifying trends, and escalating recurring problems

Supporting wider service and compliance teams with admin and tracking tasks

About You

Technically minded – able to understand and explain product faults and solutions

Confident using systems and databases

Able to work across departments and build good relationships with external repairers and suppliers

Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or a similar technical environment is a bonus
