Contract: 3+ month fixed-term
Hours: 36 hours/week, Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm
Pay: £23/hour (paid via umbrella company)

Role Overview

Southwark Council is seeking a proactive Planner to join the Asset Management / Southwark Repairs team. You will be responsible for scheduling appointments and programmed works, allocating operatives efficiently, and ensuring maximum productivity. The role requires excellent organisational and communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage work orders and resources effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Schedule and manage appointments and programmed works.

Allocate suitably qualified operatives to maximize first-visit completions.

Monitor and report on operative performance and customer satisfaction.

Maintain accurate records and system data for operational efficiency.

Communicate effectively with operatives, clients, and stakeholders.

Requirements:

Experience in scheduling, resource planning, or operational coordination.

Strong IT and reporting skills.

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work proactively and manage competing priorities.
