Job Title: Approved Electrician

Location: Ashford, Kent

Salary: Up to £20.63 per hour – depending on skills and experience.

Job Type: Full time, Permanent

Working Hours: 37 Hours Per Week

Closing Date: 4th September 2025

About The Role:

We are looking an enthusiastic qualified approved electrician to complement our existing planned maintenance team and join our electrical services division.

The role will principally involve periodic electrical installation condition reports, refurbishments and repairs to electrical installations.

About you:

The ideal candidate will:

Have an all-round knowledge and experience of electrical installations and the wiring regulations
Have the right demeanour for working as a team and in occupied properties.
Be conscientious, quality driven and well organised.
You need to be able to plan your own varied workload but also work as a team member.
Hold the qualifications of:
BS7671 18TH Edition A2
City & Guilds Level 3 2391:
2391-52 Initial Verification & Periodic Inspection and Testing
2391-51 Periodic Inspection of Electrical Installations
2391-50 Initial Verification of Electrical Installations
Be computer literate
Have good communication skills
Be committed to providing a high-quality service to our tenants

You will need to hold a current valid driving licence as a company van will be provided.
