The Role

In this influential, dual-focused role, you’ll spend your time managing existing client accounts while actively targeting and converting new opportunities. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects and contribute directly to the company’s ambitious 3-year growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Sales Director with the day to day account management of key client relationships, serving as the main contact for enquiries, Request For Quotes, and ongoing project communications.
Leverage market knowledge and incoming leads to identify and secure new business, building sustainable and profitable partnerships.
Work closely with cross-functional teams — including Sales, Engineering, and New Product Introduction — to deliver seamless project outcomes.
Contribute to commercial planning by supporting precise estimating, pricing strategies, and informed decision-making.

About You

We are looking for someone who is commercially minded and both customer service led whilst also being sales driven and enjoys the thrill of nurturing new business.

3+ years’ experience in account management or business development, ideally within manufacturing – not essential though if from a B2B background.
Demonstrated success in growing existing accounts and consistently winning new business.
Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills.
Commercially astute, organised, and confident working across both technical and commercial teams.
Hold a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle. National travel may be required to attend client meetings.
