Hourly Rate: £14.91 PAYE
Location: Gainsborough area (must be within 30 minutes)
Job Type: Full-time, 37 hours per week
Working Hours: Flexi hours between 6:30 to 20:00 Monday to Friday and 08:00 to 14:00 on Saturdays

Day-to-day of the role:

Obtain accurate readings from water meters.
Carry out meter exchanges and collect data.
Provide excellent customer service, ensuring all interactions are professional as you represent a leading water provider.
Walk between 3 to 8 miles per day, which can be physically demanding.
Use a handheld computer to log work and manage tasks.
Act as the customer’s champion, handling meter reading queries and ensuring services are delivered within agreed levels.
Complete non-routine reading and income-related operations such as conducting flow tests, replacing lids, and completing void inspections.
Efficiently manage meter exchange operations, maintaining awareness of customer impact and network regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong customer service orientation and professional demeanor.
Ability to work autonomously and manage a flexible schedule.
Physically fit to handle walking long distances daily.
Proficient in using technology for data entry and communication.
Experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
