Customer Support Specialist

Location: Lewes
Job Type: Temporary (2 months, immediate start)
Hourly Rate £12.60 per hour

Reed Crawley is currently assisting a key client in Lewes with the recruitment of a Customer Support Specialist for a temporary 2-month position with an immediate start. This role is ideal for a dynamic and proactive individual who excels in customer service environments and is ready to jump straight into a new challenge.

Day-to-day of the role:

Respond to all email and social media queries daily, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Follow up on ongoing customer issues via email and telephone, maintaining clear and regular communication.
Use Gorgias to track all customer queries ensuring transparency and efficiency.
Manage and track Royal Mail claims, ensuring timely submission of information and correct receipt of funds.
Maintain and update relevant spreadsheets daily on Google Drive.
Check the returns spreadsheet daily to ensure all returns are processed correctly.
Provide detailed feedback to relevant departments to help prevent common issues.
Monitor and address any unfulfilled orders promptly.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficient in managing data via Google Sheets.
Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities, capable of managing claims, returns, and unfulfilled orders.
Ability to work collaboratively and provide constructive feedback to internal teams.
Experience with Gorgias and Shopify is advantageous but not essential.
