About the role

GroupNexus are pleased to advise of a new opportunity that has arisen with our Implementation Team for a Project Support Officer (PSO). The Project Support Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of all GroupNexus implementation projects by providing vital administrative and technical support, enabling the project team to focus on achieving project objectives. This includes managing tasks such as project scheduling, documentation, communication and reporting, providing essential support to Project Managers and Senior Stakeholders. Key responsibilities of the Project Support Officer will include producing and updating project documentation, tracking project progress, facilitating communication between internal and external teams and providing support for project meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

Document Management: Creating, updating, and maintaining project documentation, including plans,
reports, and meeting minutes.
Communication: Facilitating communication between project team members, stakeholders, and other
relevant parties.
Scheduling and Coordination: Scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and coordinating logistics for
project activities.
Reporting: Assisting in the preparation of project progress reports, highlighting key milestones, risks,
and issues.
Budget and Resource Management: Supporting the tracking of project budgets and resources.
Quality Assurance: Assisting with quality control processes, such as data collation and compliance
checks.
Risk Management: Supporting the identification, assessment, and mitigation of project risks.
Stakeholder Management: Interacting with stakeholders at various levels, both internal and external.

Essential Skills:

Organisation and Time Management: Managing multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities effectively.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with diverse
stakeholders.
Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy and completeness in all documentation and reporting.
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in GSuite and Salesforce
Adaptability: Being able to adapt to changing priorities and project requirements.
Problem-Solving: Identifying and resolving issues that may arise during project execution.
Teamwork: Collaborating effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Desirable Skills:

Experience with specific project management methodologies like PRINCE2 or Agile.
Knowledge of specific industry or organizational procedures.
Experience in a fast-paced, innovative project environment.
