Bookkeeper

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and supporting the day-to-day accounting functions of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain company financial records, ledgers, and accounts.
Process supplier invoices, payments, and reconciliations in a timely manner.
Prepare monthly management accounts, VAT returns, and financial reports.
Monitor cash flow and support budget control.
Liaise with auditors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations.
Requirements:
Minimum 3-5 years’ proven experience with SAGE accounting software.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Previous experience within the construction industry is highly desirable.
Job Details:
Salary: £20K per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (full-time)
Contract: Permanent
