Forward Role are proud to support a rapidly growing SaaS business based in the heart of city centre Manchester, who are looking for an experienced Head of Paid Media to lead their global performance marketing strategy.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business experiencing genuine growth, where you’ll have the autonomy to shape and execute paid media strategy across multiple international markets.

As Head of Paid Media, you’ll be responsible for:

Strategic Leadership:

Develop and execute global paid media strategy across all channels
Own the creative roadmap, collaborating with design and video teams to create compelling content across the marketing funnel
Define, measure and evaluate key performance indicators for all paid media activity

Hands-On Management:

Manage substantial monthly budgets across paid search, social, and programmatic display
Plan, build and report on multiple paid media accounts across international markets
Work closely with SEO, CRM, UX, and CRO teams to ensure integrated approach
Collaborate with sales teams to optimise lead conversion and maximise ROI

Team Development:

Line manage a team of two PPC Specialists
Report to senior stakeholders across UK and international territories
Support the Director of Digital and CMO in achieving growth targets

Innovation & Optimisation:

Continuously develop accounts through systematic A/B testing
Stay ahead of industry developments including AI impact on PPC performance
Implement data-driven optimisation strategies at scale

What You’ll Bring

Essential Experience:

4+ years managing lead generation paid media with significant monthly budgets
Expert knowledge of Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Google Analytics, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and Programmatic Display
Proven ability to develop long-term strategies and testing roadmaps
Experience conducting fair A/B tests and large-scale account optimisations

Personal Qualities:

Analytical mindset with focus on quality traffic generation and conversion
Naturally creative but data-driven in decision making
Not afraid to challenge existing processes or be challenged
Strong leadership and communication skills
