Job Title: Sourcing Manager – IT & Professional Services Category
Location: London (Hybrid Working Available) 3 days on site in central London, 2 days WFH.
Contract Type: Interim – 3+ months
Salary: £400 – £500
Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Procurement Manager to lead sourcing activities across IT and Professional Services categories within a dynamic and regulated environment in the Financial Services Sector. This role is ideal for a proactive and analytical professional with strong stakeholder management skills and experience within the financial services industry. The role will focused on RFP’s & end to end tendering processes within these two categories.
Key Responsibilities
Lead competitive and cost-effective sourcing of products and services across IT and Professional Services categories.
Manage end-to-end tender processes and formal contract reviews.
Ensure procurement policies and compliance standards are upheld.
Support contract remediation in line with regulatory changes (e.g. DORA).
Present complex financial data clearly to diverse audiences.
Negotiate effectively while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
Utilise procurement tools such as Ivalua, Ariba, or similar platforms.
Collaborate with internal teams including Legal, IT Security, Compliance, and Risk.
Legal & Regulatory Responsibilities
Adhere to all relevant legal, regulatory, and internal compliance requirements.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge and complete all mandatory training.
Key Internal Contacts
IT stakeholders across various departments (e.g. GIT, BCP, ISS, GMD).
Legal, Compliance, Risk, HR, and IT Security teams.
Key External Contacts
External IT stakeholders and suppliers.
Special Role Requirements
Proven experience in IT & professional services procurement across all subcategories.
Strong planning, problem-solving, and influencing skills.
Experience working in regulated environments, ideally within financial services or large corporates.
