Wholesale Banking Project Manager – Regulatory – Client Expansion
Duration: 12 months +
Location: London (hybrid working)
Pay: £600/day via umbrella
The Project Manager will lead and coordinate the end-to-end delivery of a strategic project, ensuring alignment with regulatory, commercial, and operational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution:
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation to meet critical milestones including regulatory approvals, operating model design, and commercial launch.
Stakeholder Management:
Coordinate with internal stakeholders including Treasury Services, Risk & Compliance, Legal, Product Governance, Sales, Technology, to ensure alignment and timely decision-making.
Regulatory Coordination:
Support submission and follow-up of regulatory applications.
Risk & Controls:
Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, and Legal teams to implement governance frameworks.
Commercial Enablement:
Work with Sales and Marketing to co-ordinate pricing mechanisms, and sales training to support client acquisition and revenue growth.
Reporting & Communication:
Provide regular status updates, risk assessments, and issue resolution to senior management and project sponsors.
Qualifications
Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional projects in financial services.
Experience working with multiple stakeholders including legal, compliance, risk, technology, and commercial teams.
Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Strong ppt. and Excel skills mandatory.
Ability to manage timelines effectively.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with tight deadlines.
Familiarity with artificial intelligence tools and their integration into daily workflows will be considered a strong advantage, reflecting the team’s commitment to innovation and technology-driven efficiency.
