Java Solutions / Applications Architect – FX Payment

We are currently recruiting for a Solutions / Applications Architect to join the FX Payments group at a leading international investment bank.

This role sits within a strategic transformation program aimed at modernising the global platform used for booking and processing FX payments and currency conversions, primarily across Spots, Forwards, and NDFs.

The ideal candidate will bring strong architectural expertise gained within an FX business environment, combined with hands-on technical knowledge and the ability to shape the future of trading applications.

Key Experience & Skills

Proven Solutions / Applications Architecture background
Direct experience within an FX business unit
Strong understanding of FX products – Spots, Forwards, NDFs
TOGAF certification or equivalent framework knowledge
Technical expertise across Java, Microservices, REST, Cloud, DevOps, and TypeScript
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
