Description

Assistant Accountant Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports
Ensure that deadlines are met
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards
Supporting with budgeting and forecasting
Manage balance sheet reconciliations
Business Partnering
Support the wider finance function when required
Transactional duties when required
Adhoc duties

Profile

The successful Assistant Accountant:

Experience in a similar position
Actively studying towards CIMA / ACCA / ACA
Experience in a commercial role
Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting practices
Proficient in accounting software
Strong Excel skills
Excellent attention to detail
Proactive attitude
Be local to Nottingham

Job Offer
