We’re working with Santander UK to find a highly organised and commercially astute Category & Sourcing Specialist to join their team. This permanent role is central to delivering complex procurement initiatives that support cost transformation across the bank and its group entities.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Lead and execute high-value sourcing and procurement initiatives across Technology, Operations, and Corporate Services
Design and optimise procurement processes to support cost-to-income targets
Manage supplier relationships and contract negotiations to maximise commercial value
Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver strategic cost programmes
Support demand planning, commercial strategy, and supplier performance management
Key Skills & Experience:
Proven experience in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier management
Strong understanding of cost optimisation and procurement process design
Ability to lead complex programmes in a fast-paced, regulated environment
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Experience in banking or financial services is highly desirable
