An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technical Administrator to join a highly respected house building organisation in Guilford.
This role offers you the chance to work alongside knowledgeable design and technical teams who are passionate about delivering high-quality homes while embracing sustainability and innovation. You will play a pivotal part in supporting the technical function, ensuring smooth operations through efficient administrative processes and effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
What you will do:
Support project delivery by completing administrative tasks accurately and on time in collaboration with the technical team.
Maintain organised filing systems and databases to ensure information is current and accessible.
Prepare and issue consultant appointment documents, ensuring contractual standards are met.
Process payments and invoices promptly, maintaining accurate financial records.
Ensure timely and compliant document processing through company systems.
Liaise with colleagues, customers, and external contacts to enable clear communication and workflow.
Carry out general departmental administration, adapting to changing needs.
Provide flexible ad hoc support across the division.
Assist with compliance on building regulations by managing documentation for new materials and sustainability initiatives.
What you will bring:
Extensive experience in administration or secretarial roles, managing multiple priorities to meet deadlines.
Strong background in processing payments and invoices accurately, with advanced numerical literacy.
Experience using COINS alongside intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Excellent written English, producing professional correspondence for internal and external stakeholders.
Highly organised with strong attention to detail in document preparation and record management.
Effective time management and self-discipline, able to multi-task under pressure without loss of accuracy.
Collaborative team player with a supportive approach and dependable work ethic.
Professional telephone manner and strong interpersonal skills when engaging with colleagues, customers, and partners.
