Adoption Software Engineer – Authorisation �?
Location: Glasgow, London, or Radbroke (Hybrid – 2 days per week)
Contract Length: 6 months with Possibility Of extension

We’re looking for an Software Engineer to help transform how we deliver secure, scalable technology. You’ll work on a platform used by millions globally, driving the adoption of modern engineering practices around authorisation, policy-as-code, and cloud deployments.

�? What You’ll Do

? Champion the use of cutting-edge authorisation frameworks (Styra OPA, OPAL, etc.)
? Work across UI, backend, and data layers for ultra-fast systems
? Enhance cloud solutions (AWS preferred; Azure/GCP welcome)
? Lead containerisation efforts (OpenShift, Kubernetes)
? Promote secure models like RBAC, ABAC, and ReBAC
? Use SQL and data insights to shape smart technical choices

Strong Java expertise with experience in high-scale environments

Deep understanding of AWS and hybrid cloud setups

Hands-on container orchestration and deployment know-how

Experience with policy-as-code and authentication systems (Ping Identity is a plus)

SQL skills for data-driven engineering
