As Finance Director, you will take ownership of the finance function, providing strategic oversight and hands-on support. The role offers scope to add value beyond core finance and contributing to wider business operations as the firm continues to grow.

This opportunity is ideal for someone with prior private equity or venture capital experience who enjoys working in a small, entrepreneurial team. It would suit an experienced PE/VC Finance Director or CFO seeking a more flexible setup, or a seasoned Finance Manager ready to step into a broader leadership role. The team operates remotely, offering flexibility alongside high engagement. What the job involves

Responsibility for group and fund financials, FCA reporting, forecasting, tax and compliance
Oversight of fund administrators
Managing calculations of distributions, returns, carry
Preparing ad-hoc investor information
Involvement in other areas of the business to help contribute to the firm’s growth
Who we are looking for
A qualified accountant
Experience in private equity or venture capital is essential
Happy with a flexible two day working week
A team player who is happy to work in a smaller team
Very strong communication skills
Possibly returning to work or looking for more flexible working
Ability to work remotely or from home
