Our Life and Pensions client require a Head of Balance Sheet Oversight to help support on an exciting project for an initial 6-month contract.

Skills required:

Qualified Actuary (Institute and Faculty of Actuaries), or qualified by experience, with preferable experience in Life and Pensions
A results focused leader with a track-record of leading and developing a high-performing team.
Thorough understanding of the insurance industry. Prior experience of working in a large, complex organisation will be an advantage.
Deep knowledge and experience of financial risk management with a particular focus on liquidity and capital management, Own Risk and Solvency Assessment and Recovery and Resolution Planning, and / or Risk Appetite. Sustainability risk management experience will be an advantage.
A solid understanding of the regulatory environment within which Phoenix operates.
Demonstrable experience of building solid working relationships and of managing multiple, demanding stakeholders.
