Title: Senior Management Accountant

Salary: £55,000 – £70,000 generous bonus & wider benefits

Location: London, hybrid working offered (3/4 days WFH)

Our client, an EV Charging Infrastructure group headquartered in London with operations across the country, are currently seeking a commercially aware and detail-oriented Senior Management Accountant to join their growing finance team.

Job Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts, ensuring all relevant commentary and analysis is included.
Oversee the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, ensuring processes are efficient, accurate, and compliant with internal controls.
Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including journal preparation, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
Support the preparation of corporation tax packs and ensure accurate and timely submission of tax-related information to external advisors and HMRC.
Monitor daily cash balances, manage short-term cash flow forecasting, and support banking relationships to ensure liquidity and funding needs are met.
Work closely with operational teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring.
Monitor working capital, ensuring efficient cash management and reporting.
Liaise with auditors, assisting with annual audit processes and statutory financial reporting.
Support the development and improvement of financial systems, processes, and internal controls.

Requirements:

Be degree educated with ACA / ACCA / CIMA (or equivalent) professional accounting qualification.
Proven experience preparing full sets of management accounts.
Prior experience overseeing AP/AR processes is essential.
Experience of using Microsoft Business Central (MBC) is desirable but not essential
Strong technical accounting knowledge, with a sound understanding of financial principles.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
A proactive mindset with the ability to drive process improvement.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with experience in data analysis and financial modelling.
