At Mathews Comfort, paraplanners are front and centre, not hidden behind templates or just ticking boxes. Whether you’ve got a couple of years under your belt or you’re shaping strategy at a senior level, we’ve created space for both.

You’ll work directly with financial planners and clients to build life-changing financial plans. You’ll attend meetings, challenge ideas, run cashflow models in Voyant, and help translate goals into smart advice, all in a firm that values team fit, long-term development, and genuine collaboration.

We’re hiring at both levels because we’re growing the right way, supporting our senior team while giving newer paraplanners the tools and time to step up. If you care deeply about doing great work that helps real people, we’d love to hear from you.

What you’ll do

Support financial planners in building bespoke financial strategies

Attend client meetings and help shape planning conversations

Build cashflow models and carry out technical research

Produce clear, compliant, and personalised reports

Mentor or learn from others, depending on experience

Be part of a collaborative team that values quality over shortcuts

What we’re looking for

From 2 to 5+ years’ paraplanning experience

Diploma qualified (DipPFS or equivalent)

Strong knowledge across pensions, investments, tax, protection

Experience or interest in using Voyant for cashflow planning

Thoughtful, detail-driven, proactive people who enjoy being part of a team

Someone who takes pride in outcomes, not just outputs
