�? Executive Officer to a Member of the University Executive TeamLocation: Bournemouth / Poole – Temporary – £20.72 an hour (2 months approx could be longer) 3 days office 2 home

This is not just a support role-it’s a front-row seat to the inner workings of university leadership. As Executive Officer to a member of the University Executive Team (UET), you’ll be a trusted partner, a master coordinator, and a driving force behind key initiatives. �? What You’ll Be Doing

?? Executive-Level Partnership

Act as the right hand to a UET member, managing their schedule, priorities, and time with finesse
Use sound judgment to negotiate diary demands and ensure strategic alignment across their portfolio
Handle correspondence with professionalism-screening, drafting, and responding on their behalf
Anticipate needs and prepare them for every meeting, from high-stakes negotiations to formal hearings
Coordinate travel, expenses, and logistics with precision and discretion

?? Strategic Coordination & Project Management

Prepare speeches, presentations, and briefing materials for internal and external audiences
Lead and support projects across communications, document management, and meeting logistics
Act as clerk for university committees-organising meetings, preparing agendas, and tracking actions
Manage FOI requests and maintain robust filing systems for rapid information retrieval
Liaise with senior stakeholders across the UK and internationally

?? Collaborative Leadership Support

Build strong relationships with direct reports and teams, maintaining task lists and briefing notes
Work closely with other Executive Officers to ensure seamless support across the UET
Provide cover and support during busy periods-team spirit is everything
Champion service excellence and continuous improvement across all areas of responsibility

Confidence in handling sensitive information and high-level stakeholders

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Experience in an Executive Assistant / PA role
