Finance Manager

Reed Accountancy are recruiting for a commercially minded and detail-oriented Finance Manager to support on financial operations and support strategic decision-making across a professional services business in Cardiff. This role would be perfect for an experienced finance professional with a passion for driving business performance.

Key Responsibilities
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
Provide commercial insight to support strategic decisions
Produce accurate management reports, KPIs, and board packs
Ensure compliance with UK financial regulations and tax frameworks
Collaborate with senior stakeholders and external advisors
Manage and develop a high-performing finance team
Drive process improvements and implement effective financial controls
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in a finance leadership role, ideally within professional services
Strong analytical and commercial skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
Proficiency in financial systems (e.g., Sage, Xero, SAP)
Knowledge of UK accounting standards, tax, and audit requirements
