Your new role
Step into a strategic leadership position as Financial Controller within a dynamic work environment. Based in Belfast, you’ll report directly to the Senior Financial Controller and play a pivotal role in shaping financial operations across international markets. You’ll lead a high-performing team, drive financial process improvements, and ensure robust compliance and reporting standards. This role offers unique exposure to executive leadership and the opportunity to influence global financial strategy.
Key responsibilities include:
Ensuring accurate and compliant financial records across multiple entities
Leading budgeting, forecasting, and reporting cycles
Driving the implementation of a global control framework
Supporting statutory and tax compliance
Collaborating with third-party payroll providers
Coaching and developing graduate and trainee accountants
Championing a culture of accountability, inclusion, and safety
What you’ll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you’ll need:
ACA / ACCA / CIMA (or equivalent) qualification
A university degree and proven experience in financial leadership
Strong analytical and decision-making skills
Ability to lead teams and manage resources effectively
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
Familiarity with digital finance tools and regulatory frameworks
