18-month FTC

Full Time 35 hours

£23,000pa depending on experience.

Join our team as Assessment Administrator

The Assessment team manages the exams from exam creation through to the delivery of results.

As a part of this wider team, the exam development team are involved in the creation of the exams and provide support to the external examiners to ensure that ICAEW students receive high quality, professional and advanced level exams. We are also involved in delivering exams for the Joint Insolvency Board.

Overall purpose of this role of Assessment Administrator

This role is responsible for delivering comprehensive administrative support to the Assessment Team across all operational functions, with primary duties focused on facilitating exam development processes and performing a range of administrative tasks as needed.

Assessment Administrator Responsibilities include:

Assist the team with administering all aspects of ICAEW exam development, including the creation and quality assurance of computer-based assessments
Provide administrative support for all JIEB exam development processes, including coordination of tasks related to the JIEB Board
Assist with examiner communications, including drafting and distributing the examiner newsletter and reviewing content on the examiner website
Assist in the planning and delivery of student moderation events.
Support the production of IFRS and ISA assessments using item banks, ensuring alignment with ICAEW’s quality assurance standards
Prepare and publish marking schemes in line with established guidelines
Provide support in the organisation of Exam Review Boards, as required.
Carry out administrative tasks, including minute-taking and coordinating meetings
Act as a point of contact with examining teams and internal stakeholders as appropriate, building positive and effective relationships.
Provide support to the wider Assessment Team, as and when required.
Specific duties will vary from time to time in line with the business needs

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Strong attention to detail
Ability to perform effectively under pressure
Excellent communication skills
