Estate Manager – Hands-On Leadership Role in a Dynamic Estate
Location: Moreton-In-Marsh
Hours: 08:30 – 16:30 (flex needed to work outside of these hours)

Are you a proactive, people-focused leader with a passion for hospitality, facilities, and operational excellence? We’re looking for an Estate Manager to take the reins of a busy, multifaceted estate that includes accommodation, catering, events, and property management.
About the Role:
This is a hands-on, varied, and challenging role where no two days are the same. You’ll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the estate, ensuring high standards across housekeeping, catering, maintenance, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support a diverse team including housekeepers, chefs, a night porter, maintenance assistant, and admin staff.
Manage daily operations including room lists, private events, and catering logistics.
Maintain excellent relationships with staff, encouraging feedback and continuous improvement.
Oversee both reactive and planned maintenance – from leaking taps to boiler breakdowns.
Coordinate with outsourced Health & Safety providers and ensure compliance (IOSH qualification preferred – training can be provided).
Be the go-to person for emergencies and staffing issues, including agency coordination and out-of-hours support.
Commission tradespeople and manage purchasing of cleaning and maintenance supplies.
Support ongoing property renovation projects and ensure contingency plans are in place.

What We’re Looking For:
Strong man-management and interpersonal skills.
Experience in hospitality, facilities, or estate management.
Ability to think on your feet and remain calm under pressure.
A flexible, can-do attitude – willing to roll up your sleeves when needed.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
IOSH qualification (or willingness to complete the course).
