Location: Leeds (with on-site presence required 1–2 times per week)
Salary: £45,000 – £50,000

A leading public sector organisation is seeking a Commercial Manager to lead engagement and business development efforts across a wide range of public sector bodies, including Local Authorities, Emergency Services, Housing, NHS, Transport, and Central Government.

In this strategic role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining senior-level relationships, identifying and securing high-value commercial opportunities, and managing an active pipeline. You’ll help shape engagement strategies that drive growth, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Role:

Onboard and manage new clients
Grow and retain existing accounts
Deliver tailored procurement solutions
Monitor market trends and inform commercial strategy
Maintain accurate CRM and reporting documentation
Attend sector-specific procurement and commercial meetings

Person:

Strong understanding of the public sector and its operational landscape
Knowledge of Public Contracts Regulations and the Procurement Act 2023
Commercially driven with strong communication and stakeholder management skills


