Role – Commercial Insurance Executive
Type – Permanent
Hours – Monday to Friday, 9am till 5pm
Salary – £40,000 to £60,000 depending upon experience + excellent benefits package
The Opportunity:
We are seeking a talented individual to join our dedicated team. This role will be a permanent, full-time role based in our Rawtenstall office. We’re seeking an experienced Commercial Client Executive who will inherit a book of clients across multiple sectors with varying premium spend who is also able to further develop the book of business through, prospecting & networking to achieve growth.
Role Requirements:
3+ years’ commercial insurance executive experience (UK market essential)
Driving licence
Outgoing & personable
Excellent communication and decision-making skills
Excellent literary skills
Ability to work without supervision
Manage an allocated portfolio of clients
Strive to deliver best practice, market-leading service and solutions for all clients
Prepare client reports, cover summaries and FCA-compliant documentation
Actively seek and respond to all new business opportunities.
To maintain current knowledge with regard to industry compliance and regulation.
To continue personal development by completion of ongoing insurance qualifications and/or training to improve personal knowledge of the industry.
Ensuring the customer is treated fairly and that the customer receives excellent service in accordance with industry and company guidelines.
Maintaining quality and customer service standards, ensuring client records are kept accurate and up to date.
Organised & excellent attention to detail
Strong relationship building and relationship management skills are essential
Strong technical knowledge of commercial insurance products/Lloyd’s market
Exceptional client relationship management skills
A consistent track record of delivering against targets within a regulated, measurable framework is vital.
Comfortable generating leads and building pipelines
Attend trade related dinners, AGM’s, trade shows, expo’s etc.
Ability to network at all levels to seize new opportunities.
Maintaining quality and customer service standards, ensuring client records are kept accurate and up to date.
Eligibility to work in the UK with the ability to travel
What qualifications are preferred but not required:
Chartered Insurance Institute Qualification (ACII / Dip CII / Cert CII) or working towards this.
Renumeration & Benefits / Rewards:
Salary up to £60,000.00 plus uncapped earnings subject to agreed income volumes
