Role Overview
We’re seeking an ambitious Accident & Health Broker to join a specialist broking team in the heart of London, focusing on large, complex international risk. You’ll structure bespoke A&H insurance solutions – spanning Personal Accident, Travel, Kidnap & Ransom, Emergency Evacuation, Crisis Response – for multinational clients operating across high risk sectors. Your core challenge: navigate the London and global insurance markets to secure best in class coverage under competitive terms.Key Responsibilities
Client advisory & risk analysis
Understand and map clients’ global exposures, especially in challenging territories; deliver tailored risk mitigation strategies
Policy structuring & placement
Craft and place policies across Personal Accident, Group Travel, Kidnap & Ransom, and associated lines; negotiate with underwriters in Lloyd’s and international markets
Underwriter relationship management
Build and sustain strong partnerships with underwriters, maintaining pipeline visibility and securing favourable terms .
Renewals & portfolio oversight
Manage the full insurance lifecycle-renewals, midterm adjustments, new placements-anticipating client needs and responding to market shifts
Cross functional teamwork
Coordinate closely with claims, compliance, and analytics teams to deliver comprehensive client service
Regulatory compliance & governance
Ensure all placements and documentation meet UK/EU/A&H regulatory requirements; stay current on market changes .
New business growth
Proactively identify and win new business, leveraging specialist network and broking platforms; contribute to strategic growth plans Who You Are
Experienced A&H broker: Minimum 5 years in Accident & Health broking, with experience handling high value, international risks
London Market savvy: Proven track record placing business in Lloyd’s and global insurer markets
Exceptional communicator: Highly adept at client-facing interactions and negotiating with underwriters.
Analytical thinker: Strong attention to detail and ability to translate complex risk exposures into structured insurance solutions
Team-player: Collaborative ethos, able to work across functions to deliver integrated solutions.
