Catastrophe Analyst – City, London

Hybrid working 2/3 days a week in the office

Joining this Global Insurance company as a Catastrophe Analyst you will pay a key role in pricing individual risks across multiple lines of business – including Property, Engineering and Marine – as well as in aggregating natural catastrophe (Nat Cat) exposures at the portfolio level.

Key responsibilities:-

Assist underwriters with the assessment of different layers and catastrophe coverage options for complex accounts
Ensure catastrophe modelling results are consistent and data quality meets industry standards
Provide regular reporting to Property, Engineering, and Marines lines of business, as required.
Support central system team on catastrophe management projects and handle ad-hoc requests

Key experience/skills required:-

Exposure in catastrophe modelling and exposure management
Proficiency in using catastrophe modelling software, preferably RMS
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
