Hours: Monday–Friday, typically 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexible)

Salary: Competitive (based on experience) Overtime Available

Based in the beautiful area of Paignton, Devon, our client, a leading Hydraulics organisation, have an exciting opportunity to join their well-established team, as a Trade Counter/ Warehouse Manager.

We are now looking for a Trade Counter/ Warehouse Manager to take charge of our client’s warehouse operations and customer trade counter. This is a great opportunity for someone with a hands-on, practical background to step into a key role within a growing business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day running of the warehouse and trade counter.

• Oversee goods in/out, ensuring all deliveries and despatches are accurate and efficient.

• Maintain and monitor stock levels and inventory systems.

• Serve customers at the trade counter, offering advice and assistance on hydraulic parts and products (training provided).

• Supervise and support warehouse staff, including training where needed.

• Liaise with sales and technical teams to support customer orders and queries.

• Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, safe, and well organised.

• Follow all company policies and health & safety procedures.

Person specification:

• Experience in a warehouse, trade counter, or logistics role.

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

• Customer-focused with good communication skills.

• IT-literate (basic systems, stock control).

• Forklift licence preferred (training can be provided).

• Self-motivated, reliable, and hands-on.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday, typically 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
