Child Care Paralegal – Leicester

Salary: £25,000 – £30,000+ DOE

What you’ll be doing:

Assisting Fee Earners with a broad range of child care law matters
Supporting clients at key stages of their case (including supervised Legal Help meetings and court attendance)
Preparing bundles, drafting legal documents, managing diaries and supporting with court forms
Managing client communications, file set-up and liaising with counsel and experts
Handling Legal Aid applications, billing and case management processes
Getting involved with trial prep, case administration and day-to-day team support

What the firm is looking for:

Previous experience in a legal setting (ideally care/family law)
Strong administrative, drafting and organisational skills
A proactive, empathetic and client-focused approach
Confidence using MS Office and case management systems
A genuine interest in developing a long-term career in childcare law
