The Role: Financial Analyst

The Client: Banking

The Location: London City Centre (4-5 days in the office)

The Role:

Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely financial accounts in line with international accounting standards and internal policies.
Produce monthly management accounts and deliver performance insights ahead of regulatory deadlines.
Report on financial performance, including key metrics and KPIs, to senior leadership.
Manage and reconcile operational cash balances and flows.Support and enhance the financial control environment to ensure robustness and compliance.
Perform day-to-day accounts payable activities, ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping.
Support the collection of accounts receivable balances.Prepare and submit regulatory returns within the finance function’s remit.
Liaise with external stakeholders such as auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners.

Prior experience:

Experience in a similar position (Ideally Banking experience)
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics, or part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA).
Proficiency in Excel and ability to work with large datasets.
Any exposure to PowerBI, SQL etc is advantageous
Exposure to to FX is a plus
