What you’ll do: Manage a diverse portfolio of audit clients, ensuring high standards of service delivery across all engagements. Provide practical guidance on regulatory matters such as tax and VAT regulations, requirements of UK law, and principles of good governance. Ensure compliance with GAAP and maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant accounting standards including IFRS and UK GAAP. Contribute to work flow planning by overseeing your team’s portfolios and supporting efficient allocation of resources. Foster enduring client relationships by acting as a dependable point of contact and understanding each client’s unique needs. Deliver revenue and profitability targets by managing projects efficiently and identifying opportunities for additional value-added services. Coach and mentor junior members of the team, sharing your knowledge to support their professional development. Support local partners with ad-hoc duties as required, demonstrating flexibility and willingness to collaborate across teams. What you bring: To excel as a Senior Auditor in this respected firm, you will bring proven experience from previous roles within audit or accountancy practices. Your technical expertise will be complemented by your ability to interpret complex regulations and apply them practically for clients’ benefit. You will have developed strong interpersonal skills that enable you to build trust-based relationships both internally with colleagues and externally with clients. Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CA or equivalent is required for this position. Demonstrable experience auditing clients across various industries is essential for success in this role. Working knowledge of IFRS/UK GAAP is necessary to ensure compliance with industry standards. Experience preparing accounts and corporation tax computations/returns for limited companies is highly desirable. Ability to provide clear guidance on regulatory matters including tax, VAT regulations, UK law requirements, and good governance principles is important. Proven track record in managing client portfolios with a focus on building lasting relationships is expected. Experience coaching or mentoring junior team members will be highly valued in this collaborative environment. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels are crucial for fostering teamwork.
