Job Title: Senior / Associate Surveyor
Location: UK-wide (Midlands, Bristol, or London preferred; other locations considered)

Are you ready to shape the UK’s future property landscape in the fast-growing telecoms infrastructure space? A leading consultancy is seeking a driven Senior / Associate Surveyor to support telecoms and property-related matters across the country.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially aware and technically capable professional to advise on property rights, infrastructure projects, and stakeholder negotiations. As a Senior / Associate Surveyor, you’ll act on behalf of major national clients in sectors including utilities, transportation, and conservation. Your work will directly influence how critical infrastructure is maintained, expanded, and secured.

Based ideally in the Midlands, Bristol, or London, but with flexibility to consider other locations, you’ll benefit from flexible working arrangements and the support of an experienced national team.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior / Associate Surveyor

Lead property negotiations with landowners and agents relating to telecoms infrastructure access and agreements
Guide clients through estate management challenges, from portfolio optimisation to site disputes and redevelopment impacts
Provide strategic advice on telecoms tenancy renewals and new agreements under relevant legislation
Assess site and land values, supporting valuation requirements and internal reporting
Represent client interests in meetings, inspections, and presentations, both remotely and in person
Monitor and resolve property-related issues such as right of access, occupancy status, and notice disputes
Support junior team members’ development through mentoring, coaching, and line-management responsibilities
Help grow client relationships and internal capabilities by contributing to service development and delivery best practices
Identify new business opportunities, participate in pitches, and contribute to team targets

What We’re Looking For

To succeed in this Senior / Associate Surveyor position, you should bring:

? Chartered Surveyor status (MRICS or FRICS), or a strong commitment to achieving accreditation
? Practical experience in infrastructure, commercial property, rural estate, or general practice surveying
? In-depth understanding of UK property frameworks, including the Electronic Communications Code and landlord-tenant regulations
? Ability to manage a complex workload with multiple stakeholders
? Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills – both written and verbal – with client-facing confidence
? Proactive approach to generating business and contributing to team objectives
? Capability to interpret and advise on legislation, regulatory change, and valuation methodology
? Willingness to travel nationally to meet client and property needs
? A solutions-driven mindset with a focus on quality and long-term outcomes
