Our client is the world’s leading manufacturer of glassfiber, operating 8 owned factories and 14 licensed facilities worldwide. Their mission is clear:

From clean drinking water infrastructure to handling the effects of extreme weather, they are helping transform global water networks, including right here in the UK and Ireland. As part of its ambitious growth plans, the group is investing heavily in expanding factory capacity and entering new markets across water, energy, and industrial sectors.

Now, they’re looking for a Technical Sales Manager to support this mission and help shape a better, greener future.

The Role

As Technical Sales Manager , your focus will be on securing new projects with consultant engineers, framework contractors, and multi-utility stakeholders. You’ll work on long-term, large-scale infrastructure projects, sometimes spanning months or even years.

This is a client-facing role where you’ll be liaising with a broad range of people – from site personnel to CEOs of major organisations.

Key Responsibilities
Build strong relationships with existing customers while identifying and developing new business in your region
Promote and support the use of GRP products across water, energy, and industrial sectors
Provide technical guidance and product expertise to consultants and contractors
Manage the full sales cycle, from initial enquiry to project delivery
Achieve sales and margin targets
Represent Amiblu at trade shows, conferences, and industry events
Use CRM tools and strategic territory planning to manage projects and pipelines
About You
Proven track record in technical sales, ideally within water, civil engineering, utilities, or construction
Comfortable working on complex, long-term project sales (ideally with consultants and multi-utility firms)
Degree in Engineering or similar is preferred but not essential
Confident, self-motivated, and highly organised
Skilled in CRM systems and managing multiple ongoing projects
Willing to travel regularly (including occasional trips to European HQ and production sites)
Full UK driving licence and valid passport required
