Building Surveyor

We are working a Building Surveyor role, within Corporate Property at a Southwest based Local Authority.

Location: Southwest England

Set-up: Hybrid – 2 days onsite

Rate: £375-420/day via umbrella, inside IR35

Duration: Initial 6-month contract

Hours: Full-time position

Responsibilities include:

Undertake asset management survey plans of corporate buildings, including measured surveys, fire, asbestos, condition and Accessibility surveys, within the department’s planned timescales, programmes and budgets
Delivery of the planned maintenance programme, across the property estate
Delivery of surveys for asbestos, condition & Accessibility PCC buildings maintained in accordance with the maintenance strategy
Deliver the council’s Asset management Plan
Must have experience in writing reports, business cases, procurement and engaging with consultants
Can be qualified by experience
