Day-to-day of the role:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons in French and/or Spanish across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential opportunities at Key Stage 5.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic and personal development.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for learning languages.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share innovative teaching practices and resources.
Participate in extracurricular activities and school events to enrich the educational experience.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
A degree in Modern Foreign Languages or a related field.
Proven experience teaching French and/or Spanish at the secondary level.
Strong classroom management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for teaching languages.
