In our Outbound TM Team within the National Supply Chain Management department, you will have the key responsibility of inputting the data required for our Outbound transport system set up

You will ensure the data entered is accurate and reliable and you will have the opportunity to work with our brand new SAP systems which will transform the way our business works across all departments

You will be working as part of a growing and developing National Supply Chain department, looking for continuous improvement within your role to simplify processes and maximise efficiencies

As part of this role you will be a key contact between our National Supply Chain and Regional teams, this will include feeding back key datasets to ensure we’re paying our Carriers on time, as well as offering insight into where we could further improve our processes

Your New Role:

Duties and Responsibilities:

System expert in our system SAP TM (Training will be provided)
Data entry into our SAP TM system
Running of reports to monitor the accuracy of our data
Updating reports to share with third parties where appropriate
Internal and external stakeholder engagement and management of all levels of the business
Continuous improvement within role, simplifying processes and operations to maximise efficiencies
Supporting the delivery of the department strategy as required
Working with other business functions within Aldi to ensure that SAP TM is functioning as efficiently as possible

About You:

Demonstrate understanding of Logistics and Supply Chain
Experience of data entry
Proficient in Excel and Word
Confident to explore and develop our SAP systems
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Desirable:

Experience with JIRA and SAP TM
Experience within a Supply Chain department within retailers or 3PL’s
Demonstrate the ability to design and implement solutions effectively
Demonstrate the ability to effectively manage external providers
Knowledge of Supply Chain systems (TMS/WMS/Portals etc.)
Previous background within operational environments, including day to day management

What you’ll get in return:

Starting salary from £25,755 up to £31,675 (12 month fixed term contract)
Monday – Friday, 8:00 to 16:30 with the opportunity of remote working 2 days a week.
