Project detail
Have you considered a career in recruitment? Are you someone who thrives on structure, detail, and ensuring everything is done by the book? Do you have great communication skills and a proactive mindset, but haven’t yet found the right platform to shine? Come and showcase your potential at Staffline.
The Recruitment Support Opportunity
This is your chance to join the UK’s largest recruitment business as a Recruitment Support Officer. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in maintaining compliance, onboarding candidates, and delivering a best-in-class experience to workers and clients operating out of our busy Leicester branch – A La Carte.
To thrive in this position, you’ll be methodical, solutions-focused, and passionate about doing things right. Experience in recruitment or compliance would be a bonus, but it’s not essential — we’ll provide training in the systems and processes you’ll need to succeed.
What you’ll do as a Recruitment Support Officer
This role is all about precision, process, and people — supporting new applicants into roles while ensuring every step meets regulatory and internal standards. Here’s a glimpse of what your days will include:
Conducting right-to-work checks and supporting the induction and onboarding process
Logging and processing candidate data accurately and compliantly
Managing applicant flow and supporting recruitment activity across platforms
Monitoring visa statuses and right-to-work documentation for ongoing compliance
Delivering Food Safety Level 2 training where required
Supporting the delivery of a consistent and professional candidate experience
Communicating professionally across internal teams, applicants, and clients
Using bespoke software (e.g., TRUST ID, Paloma Enterprise, Horizon) to streamline the registration and compliance process
The skills you’ll develop as a Recruitment Support Officer
At Staffline, we invest in your growth. This role will help you build a deep understanding of compliance, candidate onboarding, and workforce data management — all while sharpening your communication and collaboration skills. You’ll gain exposure to recruitment systems and processes, and have the opportunity to propose improvements to how we work.
We actively support internal progression, with structured development pathways and learning tools available via our LXP and BXP platforms.
What we need from you…
Our commitment to development, support, and opportunity is matched by what we ask from you in return:
Attention to detail and an organised, process-driven approach
Confidence with digital systems and data management
The ability to prioritise tasks and respond quickly to change
A proactive attitude to learning and sharing knowledge
Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset
Ideally, some experience in recruitment, compliance, HR, or a related role — but this is not essential
