About the opportunity;
We are delighted to be partnering with an exciting food business as they continue to grow and expand their UK wide footprint. This is an interim contract for 6 months and will have a specific focus on L&D including the following key areas;
Partner closely with the leadership team to understand immediate and long-term training needs for each part of the business.
Rapidly absorb insights on the current HR and L&D effectiveness across the Group.
Identify key capability gaps and resource requirements.
Design and deliver bespoke learning solutions, securing sign off from senior stakeholders.
Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to:
Identify and nurture future talent
Develop a Group-wide talent and succession plan
Create a fit-for-purpose performance management framework
Build leadership and management capability
Ensure all agreed actions from the report are delivered on time and meet operational needs.
Review departmental structures and recommend improvements.
Demonstrate clear return on investment for all initiatives.
You will also have involvement in the creation and implementation of an interim people strategy although this will not be the core requirement of the project.

Based on site near Enfield 5 days a week with occasional UK travel.
What we are looking for;
Our ideal candidate will;
Proven experience in senior L&D roles, ideally within complex, multi-site organisations.
Experience within Fresh Food and/or Family run organisations is essential.
Strong strategic thinking and hands-on delivery capability.
Experience working with senior stakeholders and external consultants.
Ability to quickly build trust and influence across all levels.
A passion for people development and organisational growth.
