Job Title: Claims Manager – Financial and Professional Lines
Location: London (Hybrid Working Available)
Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive and experienced Claims Manager to join a well-respected specialist insurer, focusing on Financial and Professional Lines. This role is London-based, offering hybrid working, and is ideal for a confident individual with strong technical knowledge and experience in handling complex claims within the London Market.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle a diverse portfolio of Financial and Professional Lines claims, including D&O, PI, FI, and Cyber.
Deliver efficient and effective claims management in line with regulatory and internal standards.
Provide technical input on complex matters and contribute to the continuous improvement of claims processes.
Engage with internal stakeholders such as underwriters and actuaries, as well as external parties including brokers, legal counsel, and clients.
Represent the business in market meetings, negotiations, and client discussions.
Assist with mentoring junior claims handlers and share knowledge across the team.
Candidate Profile:
Demonstrable experience in handling Financial and Professional Lines claims within the London Market.
Solid understanding of relevant classes of business and associated wordings.
Strong communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
Commercially minded with a strong sense of accountability.
Legal qualification or relevant professional certification (e.g. ACII) is advantageous but not essential.
