About Us
We’re Imperial Health Charity, an organisation that helps our hospitals do more through grants, arts, volunteering, and fundraising. We support the five hospitals of Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust: Charing Cross, Hammersmith, Queen Charlotte’s & Chelsea, St Mary’s, and the Western Eye.
We are now looking for a Fundraising Manager to join us on a full-time basis, working 35 hours per week, for a 12 month fixed term contract to cover a period of maternity leave.

The Role
As our Fundraising Manager, you will develop and manage our events and community fundraising programme.
Helping to grow key income streams, you’ll lead our bespoke and third-party events, in-memory and celebration fundraising, and our Winter Appeal. You’ll manage a range of supporter relationships while ensuring campaigns are effectively marketed and run smoothly.
Strategic oversight will also form part of your role, including setting income targets, reviewing programme performance, and maintaining high-quality supporter stewardship in line with fundraising best practice.
Additionally, you will:
– Line manage two Fundraising Officers
– Build relationships across hospital teams and charity departments
– Attend events as a charity representative
– Monitor budgets and contribute to the strategic development of new fundraising initiatives
About You
To be considered as our Fundraising Manager, you will need:
– Extensive experience of events and community fundraising within the charity sector
– Experience of setting budgets and creating strategies for events and community fundraising
– A track record of meeting income targets and generating new income
– Experience of organising mass fundraising events
– Experience of using a fundraising database to manage supporter journeys and monitor income
– Experience of line management
– Knowledge of fundraising laws and regulations
– The ability to travel between hospital sites in West London
