Are you a sharp, creative writer with a passion for tech and innovation? A global events company, renowned for championing groundbreaking technology and ideas at their b2b events, is looking for an Editor to join their London-based team. This is an early career role.
With a hybrid work setup and the chance to travel, you’ll play a key role in producing engaging content that supports world-class business conferences and commercial partnerships. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone looking to develop their editorial career within a dynamic and forward-thinking commercial environment.
What You’ll Be Doing as an Editor
You’ll be a key part of the content team, working across multiple channels and formats:
Content Creation:
Write short-form news stories (typically 150-300 words)
Craft compelling content for commercial partners
Conduct interviews and write profiles aligned with the event themes
Support the marketing team with written content
Social Media Engagement:
Grow and manage the brand’s voice on LinkedIn, Twitter, and more
Share articles and create original social content
Join and lead conversations on topics shaping industry
Capture and post multimedia content (photos, videos, snippets)
Video & Presentation:
Present and interview at our events and digitally
Produce video material used for marketing and sponsorship initiatives
Editorial Admin & Events:
Maintain and update the editorial contact database
Moderate or chair sessions at live conferences and virtual webinars
Bring editorial insight to the table, identify themes, trends, and potential commercial opportunities
Occasionally, join client meetings with the sales team to provide content perspectives
What We’re Looking For
A strong Degree
Demonstrated ability to create journalistic or editorial-style content (student media, blogs, etc.)
A proactive attitude and willingness to get stuck in
Confidence in writing quickly, clearly, and accurately
An interest in technology and innovation
A mature, confident presence, especially when representing the brand at events
Comfortable working independently and managing your time effectively
Willingness to travel as needed for events
