KCR Solutions are working with this reputable and long-established company, operating a UK sales office based in Washington. They are seeking a proactive and well-rounded Finance Assistant to join their finance team and support the Finance Manager in the day-to-day financial operations of the business. This is a varied and hands-on role, ideally suited to someone with a finance background who is comfortable working independently, with guidance and support when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Processing supplier invoices
Reconciling statements
Preparing payment runs
Raising customer statements
Monitoring accounts
Chasing outstanding debt
Daily bank reconciliations
Monitoring of cash flow
Assisting with journals, accruals, and prepayments
Inputting payroll data
Providing general support to the Finance Manager

You will have a background in finance with experience in a similar role or a background that demonstrates an interest in finance. It is important you have strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Excel and have the ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently. You will also have strong organisational and communication skills.

It would be an advantage to have experience using SAP or similar ERP/accounting systems.

This would be a great opportunity for anyone actively working towards their AAT, there is room for the role to grow and develop.

Hours 8.30am to 5.00pm with an early finish on Fridays.
