Responsibilities: As a Finance Director, you will…

Lead the finance function, ensuring accurate reporting, strong controls, and commercial insight
Drive financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning
Act as a key advisor to the CEO and senior leadership team on all financial matters
Manage relationships with external stakeholders including banks, auditors, and investors
Support the board with scenario planning, performance analysis, and strategic investment decisions
Oversee cash flow, working capital, and risk management activities
Provide leadership to the finance team, embedding best practices and developing capability

Requirements: As a Finance Director, you will need…

A full accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with significant post-qualified experience
A track record of success in senior finance leadership roles, ideally within complex or transitioning businesses
Strong commercial acumen, with experience advising board-level stakeholders
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
Experience with financial modelling, strategic planning, and change management
Proficiency in financial systems and ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
