Communications & Creative Agency | South West London | Full-Time, Hybrid, 2 days WFH | 60 – 80k

An award-winning, fast-growing creative agency is looking for a Financial Controller to join their team and support their continued expansion.

This is a sole role where you’ll have ownership of financial operations, including the production of management accounts and guide commercial stratergy to drive profitability.

Responsibilities – Finance Manager

Ownership of all financial operations including AP/AR transactions, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance
Preparation of the monthly management accounts to include analysis of spend, comparison to budget, and recommending adjustments as needed
Being the lead person for revenue analysis and system knowledge
Cashflow forecasting, updating MD on a weekly basis
Provide strategic input to senior leadership, identifying opportunities to improve margin and efficiency
Business partner with account teams to ensure client profitability and commercial awareness
Implement robust financial processes to support growth and scalability
Lead on annual audits and year-end closing
Timesheet oversight, monitoring timesheet information and ensuring entry into job costing system in a timely manner

The Person – Finance Manager

2+ years in a sole finance manager or financial controller role, ideally within a creative agency
Excellent communications skills with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders
Excellent attention to detail and analytical mindset
Commercially-minded, confident communicator and a proactive self-starter
Strong Excel knowledge
QBE OR ACCA/CIMA Qualified
Paprika experience is highly advantageous
Experience in a communications, marketing, creative, advertising or PR agency environment is highly desirable
