Assistant Management Accountant

Assistant Management Accountant based in South Manchester
Initially a 15 month fixed term contract
£30,000 – £40,000 plus study support.
I’m delighted to be supporting a leading, South Manchester based, business in their search for an Assistant Management Accountant. This is varied position ideally suited to a part-qualified accountant.

Responsibilities

Assist in the month end close process, ensuring the ledgers are all closed to strict deadlines.
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the accounts, calculate and post relevant journals to ensure the accounts are reflective of underlying financial performance.
Ensure that all balance sheet reconciliations are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Skills and Experience

Part Qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent).
An ambitious individual and team player.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and to thrive under tight deadlines and high-pressure situations.
Ability to actively engage business stakeholders and to respond to queries in a collaborative manner.
This role will come with full study support for a professional finance qualification.
